We accept all funding for 2, 3 and 4 year old children.

3 and 4 year olds

Central Bedfordshire Council gives childcare providers the opportunity to offer Free early education places for 3 and 4 year olds.

​

15 Hours

• For all families in England with 3 and 4-year-old children

• 15 hours of free childcare or early education a week, for 38 weeks of the year.

​

30 Hours

• Eligible working parents with 3 and 4-year-old children

• An additional 15 hours, so 30 hours of free childcare and early education per week, for 38 weeks of the year.

If you’re eligible for the extra hours, you sign up online to get a code to give to your childcare provider to reserve your place. You’ll get the extra hours once the next term starts.
