Special Educational Needs & Disabilities

At Meppershall Pre-School we understand the importance of early intervention and meeting children's individual needs. We work closely with parents and benefit from a good relationship with the Early Years SEND Team at Central Beds Council. We are committed to supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) by writing SEND Plans, liaising with professionals as necessary and accessing further training for our staff as required. (Refer to local offer below).

We are happy to support EHC Plans and DLA applications, and access additional funding for specialised equipment and 1-1 support when required. Our aim is to provide an environment in which all children are supported to reach their full potential.

If you would like to know more our named SENCO's Tamsin and Lisa will be happy to help.
